Digital Anarchy Releases Psunami for After Effects Mac OSX

San Francisco (Feb. 19, 2002) -- Digital Anarchy has released updates to all of its plug-ins for Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro and compatible systems. The new versions of the plug-ins are now Mac OS X-compatible. Some of them have also received incremental updates to fix bugs and add minor new features.

Digital Anarchy's plug-ins include:

  • Elements of Anarchy: Text for After Effects 5.5 and Final Cut Pro 3.0. EOAT includes plug-ins for manipulating text over video and motion graphics. The latest update, aside from gaining OS X compatibility, is also now 16-bit compliant. The font handling has also been improved to allow more complete handling of Truetype fonts on Mac and Windows and Postscript fonts on the Mac. The Screen Text plug-in has been modified to use a font's built-in kerning.

  • Geomancy, which is a plug-in for After Effects that allows users to produce graphic elements for broadcast. This set includes three filters for producing gridlines, hairlines and grid squares.

  • Psunami is an After Effects-compatible plug-in that generates the 3D geometry of the surface of a body of water. It can also be used to produce non-water effects, such as desert landscapes.

The Elements and Geomancy upgrades are free to registered users. The Psunami upgrade is free to those customers that purchased it since Digital Anarchy took it over. There's a $25 upgrade fee to those customers that purchased it when it was an Atomic Power product. For more information, visit http://www.digitalanarchy.com.
