Phoenix Tools and Areté Entertainment are announcing the
release of Psyclone 1.0, a plug-in for SOFTIMAGE®|XSI™ v.2.X.
DNT_Psyclone
is a volumetric cloud/smoke add-on able to create high-resolution
cloud/smoke simulations. Simply adding DNT_Psyclone to a generic shape or
a particles cloud can easily create dramatic fly-through and fly-around
cloud/smoke effects. The add-on includes an advanced optics shader giving
full control of volumetric lighting properties such as self-shadowing,
visibility, and fuzziness.
